
INSPIRATION
Inspired by Leonardo DaVinci's 'Vite' or 'Air Screw,' from between 1487 and 1490. It was inspired by the Archimedes Water Screw from 234 BC.
DESIGN
The DaVincia vase form has an organic profile that twists 180 degrees along the vertical axis.
BACKSTORY
DaVinci was rumored to have a catch phrase, 'I love things that twist, baby!' This has never been verified by historians.
MATERIALS
Cast metal alloy as seen above. Glass and plastic as seen below.
