REALITY CHECK
The Coriolis force does not affect sinks or toilets. They are too small for the effect.
INSPIRATION
The design was inspired by spirals. The form is based on two separate spirals, a lower flat spiral and an upper spiral that is vertically ascending, connected via a flared vertical wall. Aren't you glad you asked?
All designs should be considered preliminary concepts, even though they do look pretty great and remarkably finished.
